Prince William Talks Newborn Prince George: He’s ‘Loud’ & ‘Very Good Looking’

New dad Prince William is feeling the effects of having a newborn – something he says is more difficult than his military search and rescue training!

William made his first public appearance since the debut of his son on Wednesday in Wales, where he spoke about the challenges of caring for the addition to the royal family.

“I have to say that I thought Search and Rescue duties over Snowdonia were physically and mentally demanding, but looking after a 3-week-old baby is up there!” he told the crowd, per People.

William described Prince George, who was born on July 22, as “pretty loud” and “very good looking.”

Wife Kate was not at Wednesday’s event, but he spoke on her behalf to the people of Anglesey, an island off the coast of northwest Wales, where he has been doing his RAF training.

“I know that I speak for Catherine when I say that I have never in my life known somewhere as beautiful and as welcoming as Anglesey,” he told the crowd. “The views across the Menai Straits are undoubtedly among the most stunning in the British Isles. I know that both of us will miss it terribly when my Search and Rescue tour of duty comes to an end next month and we have to move elsewhere… From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making my wife and me so welcome when we arrived here, as you do thousands of visitors each year.”

The couple spent more than three years in the small Wales town, but will soon make London their main residence.

Adding, “This island has been our first home together, and it will always be an immensely special place for us both.”
