Prince William’s Cousin, Zara Phillips, Expecting First Child

There’s another royal baby on the way!

Royal fans might be busy waiting for baby news from Kate Middleton and Prince William, but his cousin, Zara Tindall – who goes by Zara Phillips – also has an exciting arrival on the way.

The 32-year-old Olympic equestrian and her rugby player husband Mike Tindall, 33, are expecting their first child.

“Mr. and Mrs. Mike Tindall are very pleased to announce that Zara Tindall is expecting a baby in the New Year,” the Palace said in a statement on Monday, per the BBC.

Adding, “The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips, Mr. Phillip and Mrs. Linda Tindall, and members of both families are delighted with the news.”

This will mark the third grandchild for the Queen’s daughter Princess Anne, 62. She is also a grandmother to Savannah and Isla, the daughters of Zara’s brother Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn.

Zara and Mike were married in July 2011.
