Private Practice Actress Agnes Bruckner Tapped To Star In Lifetime’s Anna Nicole Smith Biopic

Lifetime has found its Anna Nicole Smith.

Agnes Bruckner will star as the late model and Playboy playmate in an upcoming biopic, the network confirmed to Access Hollywood on Thursday.

The TV movie, titled “The Anna Nicole Story,” will be produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (“Smash,” “Drop Dead Diva”), along with Judith Verno (“Drew Peterson: Untouchable”), according to Deadline.

Bruckner, 27, got her start in soaps, playing Bridget Forrester on “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

The actress has a lengthy TV resume, including roles on “Private Practice,” “24” and “Alias.”

In addition to “The Anna Nicole Story,” Bruckner will soon be seen on the big screen alongside Cary Elwes and Teri Polo in “A Bit of Bad Luck,” due out next year.
