‘Project Runway’ Crowns Winner: Leanne Marshall — ‘You’re In!’

Leanne Marshall, the 27-year-old designer from Portland, Oregon, was the final designer left standing on fifth season finale of “Project Runway” on Bravo.

Leanne bested Korto Momolu and Kenley Collins, in the show’s first ever all-female finale.

Kenley, whose collection was inspired by “Alice In Wonderland,” was the first to go.
Early in the episode she was seen feuding with host Tim Gunn, who ended up filling in as a judge, when guest judge Jennifer Lopez had to cancel.

Korto was considered a close runner-up — her collection was inspired by nature.

But Leanne, who started the season weak, but won several competitions towards the end, was the ultimate winner. Her cream and blue collection was inspired by waves and the ocean.

It could be the last episode of “Runway” that fans get for some time, as the show is involved in a legal battle about producer Harvey Weinstein’s proposed move of the show from Bravo to Lifetime.
