Rachel McAdams & Ryan Gosling: Walking Down The Aisle Or Walking Away?

LOS ANGELES (April 19, 2007) — Just a week after rumors of a secret wedding swirled, have Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams called it quits?

Apparently, it depends who you ask.

The on-screen-turned-off-screen lovers, who met on the set of the tear-jerking romance “The Notebook,” were reportedly set to tie the knot the same day Ryan popped the question, according to Us Weekly.

Rather than dragging the engagement and wedding out and attracting unwanted media attention, Us Weekly claimed the actors were planning an intimate Canadian wedding.

Reps for both denied the report.

However, now on the heels of Gosling showing up to the premiere of his new film “Fracture” sans McAdams, other outlets are reporting the couple might be kaput.

In fact, according to a source quoted by the New York Post’s Page Six it is “definitely over” between the two.

The New York Daily News added fuel to the fire, saying a solo Gosling was spotted out and about in New York’s trendy SoHo neighborhood.

Meanwhile, on the “Fracture” red carpet, Gosling gave the dreaded and often telling “no comment” when reporters asked about the status of the relationship

The typically press shy couple also dodged rumors of a split after Gosling showed up without McAdams to this year’s Academy Awards.
