Hugh Jackman and “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson are teaming up on screen in the period drama “Unbound Captives,” Variety reported on Wednesday.
The film is the directorial debut of Madeline Stowe, who wrote the script. She reportedly turned down a multi-million dollar deal for the film in 1993 after writing the film as a star vehicle for herself. Rachel Weisz will be playing that role now, the part of a woman whose husband is killed and her two children kidnapped.

NEW YORK (June 1, 2006) — Oscar winner Rachel Weisz has had a baby boy, the star’s rep told People magazine.Weisz, 35, is engaged to Brooklyn-born ?Requiem For A Dream? director Darren Aronofsky, People reported. This is their first child. People reported that when she first revealed the pregnancy in January on the ?Tonight Show,? the Cambridge-educated actress said of Aronofsky, “I found myself a sophisticated, educated American. He’s not an actor. He’s traveled the world. He knows where Europe is, unlike a lot of Americans. He’s very cultured, but he’s all man.”Weisz won an Oscar for her supporting role in ?The Constant Gardener.?She?ll be starring in Aronofsky?s next project, a sci-fi love story called ?The Fountain,? People reported.
