Rapper Future Will Perform At 2016 ‘MTV Video Music Awards’

Platinum-selling Atlanta rapper Future today announced that he will perform at the 2016 “MTV Video Music Awards.” The 2016 performance marks Future’s first appearance on the VMA stage.  

Future joins previously announced performers Britney Spears featuring G-Eazy, Nick Jonas featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Video Vanguard recipient Rihanna.

This year’s show will celebrate the creative expression of artists, and Future made theannouncement of his performance via a personal and visual video which speaks to his creative process and custom-created by director Tom Gould.

The 2016 VMAs will air LIVE from New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden for the first time ever on Sunday, August 28 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
