Ray Romano, James Spader & Catherine Tate Join Will Arnett & Ricky Gervais For Star-Studded ‘Office’ Season Finale

Apparently, even “The Office” loves Ray Romano.

The former “Everybody Loves Raymond” actor has joined the ranks of guest stars slated to appear in the wake of Steve Carell’s “Office” depature, as he’s signed on to appear in the season finale of the hit NBC comedy, according to TV Line’s Michael Ausiello.

In addition to Ray, former “Boston Legal” star James Spader will make a Scranton, Penn., appearance for the Season 7 swan song, along with UK comedienne Catherine Tate.

“The Office” series creator Ricky Gervais and “30 Rock” funnyman Will Arnett will also make appearances on the star-studded episode, as previously reported by Entertainment Weekly.

Rainn Wilson, who plays competitive and calculating salesman Dwight on the hit show, took to Twitter to welcome Will to the show.

“With that black wig and prosthetic nose @ArnettWill looks JUST like Carell,” Rainn Tweeted on Wednesday. “Welcome aboard, chum!”

“Glad to be here m’liege,” Will replied.

Mindy Kaling, who plays ditzy pop culture fanatic Kelly Kapoor on the hit series and also boasts co-executive producer and writing credits, also Tweeted about working with Will.

“Just had an interaction with @arnettwill where I misinterpreted everything he said and was a dork,” Kelly Tweeted on Wednesday.

“Kemper killed it though,” she added, of fellow “Office” actress Ellie Kemper.

While NBC has still yet to announce who will replace the departing Michael Scott (played by Carell), as previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Will Ferrell will also join the cast for a four-episode arc as Dunder-Mifflin branch manager Deangelo Vickers.

A rep for NBC was not immediately available for comment on the reported cameos when contacted by Access on Wednesday.

Catch Steve Carell’s final “Office” episode when it airs on April 28 at 9 PM on NBC, and the Season 7 finale on May 19.
