‘Real Housewife’ Teresa Giudice’s Belongings Up For Auction

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice’s belongings are reported headed for the auction block.

According to People, Teresa and her husband – who reportedly filed for bankruptcy in October – will watch their prized possessions go to the highest bidder after the trustee in their bankruptcy case reportedly alleged in court documents that the couple has hidden assets and also undervalued the cost of their personal property.

The couple’s possessions, which included items such as a grand piano, two flat-screen televisions, chairs and sofas, decorative fireplace accessories, a foosball table, a faux marble chess set, a suit of armor and three chandeliers, will reportedly hit the auction block on August 22 at 12 PM EST.

An attorney for the Giudices told People he was hoping the auction would not take place and denied that his clients were not truthful with the court about their worth.

“Obviously we have objections to what they’re trying to do,” their lawyer Jim Kridel, told the mag. “I don’t think Teresa is happy seeing all her belongings displayed on the Internet… clearly they are under the microscope because they are famous.”

The reality star’s rep denied that her items were being auctioned when contacted by the mag, but her lawyer confirmed that the auction was currently slated for August 22, but added that he was attempting to appeal the matter.
