‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Star Loses House

The Hotlanta housing crunch got a little too tight for “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Lisa Wu-Hartwell and her husband, Edgerton Hartwell. The couple reportedly lost their multi-million dollar Georgia home.

According to TMZ, the reality star and her husband, once a linebacker for the Oakland Raiders, were forced to leave their multi-million dollar home last week after the couple defaulted on their loan. They were reportedly attempting to restructure their loan, but their efforts failed. The bank sold the home soon after the couple’s default.

The home was reportedly purchased for $2.9 million in 2007, but the bank only received $1.9 million when it was resold last month.

“Ed and Lisa are fine,” her rep told the Web site. “They have settled in their [new] home, that sits on 10 acres and they own it!”

This is not the first housing mishap for the ladies of Atlanta. At the start of Season 2, “Housewife” Sheree Whitfield was forced to move to a smaller house after her ex-husband allegedly stopped paying the mortgage on her mansion.
