‘Real Housewives Of New York City’s’ Cindy Barshop: ‘We Have Not Been Fired’

Despite reports that multiple stars of “The Real Housewives of New York City” are possibly being let go from the hit Bravo series, Cindy Barshop told Access Hollywood otherwise.

“Those are rumors. What the real story is, is that we have not been asked back nor been fired,” Cindy told Access on Friday at her day spa, Completely Bare, in New York City, adding that her decision to return next season could be based on who returns and who doesn’t.

“I would need to see who’s coming back. If it was just Sonja, Ramona, myself, no!” she said with a laugh. “I loved worked with Kelly, LuAnn and Jill.”

“It’s absolutely premature to decide on who is coming back,” Cindy continued. “Bravo will make a statement when everything is done, so don’t listen to the chatter.”

Multiple reports claimed that Cindy and co-stars Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Alex McCord and Jill Zarin were on the reality TV chopping block, while LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan will remain on the series.

Reps for Kelly and Jill told Access on Thursday that nothing has confirmed yet. A rep for Bravo told Access that no decision has been finalized concerning the cast.
