Real Housewives Star Jacqueline Laurita Reveals Son Has Autism

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s” Jacqueline Laurita has revealed son Nicholas, 3, is autistic.

The reality star, who has kept her son’s autism from the cameras on her Bravo reality show, told People that at around 18-months Nicholas’ speech and motor skills began to regress.

“We had no idea what was going on,” Jacqueline told the mag. “I worry about him being independent when he’s older. I spend all my time researching what we can do for him.”

Husband Chris, who is also featured on “TRHONJ,” said they struggled with believing the reality about his son’s autism.

“You never want to think that your child isn’t perfectly healthy. We didn’t want to believe it was true,” he told the mag.

Jacqueline and Chris are also parents to son C.J., 10. Jacqueline also has a daughter, Ashlee, 21, from a previous marriage.
