After separating nearly a year ago, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe are now officially divorced, according to court documents obtained by Access Hollywood.
Reese originally filed for the divorce on November 8, 2006, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Reese, 31, and Ryan, 33, met at Reese’s 21st birthday party in 1997 and began dating shortly thereafter.
In April 1998, the two began filming “Cruel Intentions.” They were married in June 1999 in Charleston, South Carolina.
The couple has two children – daughter Ava (age 8) and son Deacon (age 3).
