NEW YORK (March 21, 2007) — Regis Philbin is back home after his triple bypass heart surgery.
Kelly Ripa made the announcement today on “Live With Regis and Kelly.”
She revealed that Philbin was actually released two days ago, but she had been “sworn to secrecy” not to say so at that time. That would mean Philbin spent five days in the hospital.
Ripa says Philbin may call in to the show Friday to say how he’s doing.
