In this exclusive photo, Mary meets with a mercenary named John, played by Tahmoh Penikett (“Supernatural”), in her quest to help her mother, Mary de Guise, and save Scotland.

With her husband, Prince Francis (Toby Regbo), having taking the army he promised to Mary, to defend his own country, the Scottish monarch is taking it upon herself to save Scotland on Thursday’s all new “Reign.”

The meeting will force Mary to understand what lengths she is willing to go to, to save her country – and, she will turn to Bash (Torrance Coombs) with details of her plan.
Meanwhile, Francis will hit the battlefield, leading France against the English. And, according to the episode description from The CW, Leith (Jonathn Keltz) is back. After being caught kissing Greer earlier in the season, a woman far above his kitchen boy stature, he ended up in the military to save him. In Thursday’s episode, Francis will find Leith on the battlefield.
