Rep: Tom Cruise’s Reported Divorce Comments ‘All False’

New reports of Tom Cruise speaking out about his split from Katie Holmes are not true, a rep for the actor told Access Hollywood.

The actor made headlines on Tuesday for reportedly speaking candidly about his divorce, but it turns out a rep for Tom says he was never asked about his personal life during an interview with German TV network ProSieben while promoting his upcoming sci-fi film, “Oblivion.”

“The entire interview was about his career. He was not asked any personal questions,” his rep told Access.

“It is all false,” she said of reports that claimed Tom was quoted as saying he “did not expect” Katie to end their marriage of five years.

A rep from Bunte magazine, the German publication that first reported Tom’s alleged comments, was not immediately available for comment when contacted by Access on Wednesday.
