Report: Ashton Kutcher Finalizing Deal To Join CBS’ ‘Two And A Half Men’

Former “That 70’s Show” star Ashton Kutcher is finalizing a deal to join “Two and a Half Men,” two sources told The Hollywood Reporter.

The trade mag reported that Chuck Lorre, the show’s creator, has worked out a storyline already for the former “Punk’d” star.

“It’s really funny,” a source told THR. “People are going to love it.”

In addition, a source told THR that Ashton would receive a “huge payday.”

Ashton himself seemed to offer a hint about his future on “Two and a Half Men,” Tweeting on Thursday night, “what’s the square root of 6.25?”

The answer, of course, is 2.5.

Just recently, reports surfaced that Hugh Grant passed up a large sum of money to join the series.

CBS declined to comment when contacted by Access Hollywood about the Ashton report, while Warner Bros., which makes the show had no comment regarding speculation.

A rep for Sheen also had no comment when contacted by Access.
