Report: Brandy Concludes Settlement With Crash Victim’s Family

Brandy Norwood has wrapped up settlement agreements with the last remaining plaintiffs suing the singer over her December 2006 car crash, TMZ reported.

According to the site, the singer has settled with the parents of Awatef Aboudihaj, the woman who was killed in the accident. Aboudihaj’s family filed a $50 million wrongful death lawsuit in 2008; Brandy previously inked settlements with three other parties involved in the accident.

The December 30, 2006 tragedy occurred when the singer’s Land Rover crashed into Aboudihaj’s Toyota, causing her car to strike a third vehicle. Aboudihaj’s Toyota was then hit by another vehicle.

“It was a situation that changed my life forever,” Brandy previously told Access Hollywood. “I will never be the same.”

The terms of the latest settlement were reportedly not disclosed.
