Report: Lindsay Lohan’s Purse Containing Passport & Cash Stolen In Hawaii

Just when it seemed Lindsay Lohan was set to impress Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner at her progress report hearing next week (the actress finished her court-mandated community service and psychotherapy requirements for the hearing a week ahead of schedule), she may be headed for trouble.

According to TMZ, the actress – who jetted to Hawaii this week for a little R&R with the permission of her probation officer – left her $5,000 Chanel bag in the car while attending a party in Laie.

When she went to the leave the bash, her purse – reportedly containing her passport, probation paperwork giving her permission to be in the islands and a hefty amount of cash – was gone.

If complications from her missing ID prevent her from returning to Los Angeles for her Wednesday court date, she could be found in contempt of court and sent to jail.

Kahuku Police are investigating the reported theft, TMZ reported.

This is the second time the star has experienced passport woes immediately prior to a court date.

In May 2010, Lindsay was at the Cannes Film Festival when she claimed her passport had been stolen and was unable to return stateside in time for a court hearing.
