Report: Oprah Asking Tiger For Sit-Down?

Oprah Winfrey wants Tiger Woods to sit down with her, according to AOL’s PopEater.

The site reported that the daytime queen has personally asked the sports star to share his side of the story in his brewing scandal.

However, Oprah’s reps have denied the report to Access Hollywood.

“Everyone in the TV business wants this interview,” a source told site reporter Rob Shuter. “Matt Lauer, Barbara Walters and Larry King’s people have all called, but only Lady O has personally reached out.”

Whether or not Tiger will accept her offer is another story. The embattled star – who will miss his charity tournament this week after undergoing a mysterious car accident early on the Friday morning after Thanksgiving – has repeatedly asked for privacy in his public statements even as he admitted to “transgressions.”

Meanwhile, a number of women have been alleged in the media to have conducted affairs with the golfer; some have denied the reports, while others, such as cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubbs, have come forward alleging that Tiger indeed had an intimate relationship with them
