Brooke Mueller is in rehab, according to multiple online reports.
TMZ.com was first to report that the 32-year-old wife of Charlie Sheen checked into The Canyon rehab facility last Tuesday.
Next, E! Online reported that Mueller, mother of Charlie’s twin boys, Max and Bob, is in rehab for substance abuse. A source reportedly told E!‘s Web site, Mueller “wants to get better for the babies.”
A lawyer for Mueller has not yet returned a call from Access Hollywood about the reports.
Last week, a source told Mueller was planning to look into inpatient rehab facilities.
According to the reports, Mueller’s reported rehab stint came just one day after she appeared in court last week in Aspen, to support her husband, who was formally charged with one felony count of menacing, a misdemeanor count of assault in the third degree and a misdemeanor count of criminal mischief.
The charges stem from Sheen’s December 25 arrest in Aspen, Colorado, after a woman who identified herself as Brooke called authorities and claimed Sheen threatened her with a knife.
A restraining order was put into place following the incident, however, the judge modified the order at last week’s court hearing allowing the couple to see each other.
