Reports: Eric Dane & Rebecca Gayheart Expecting Second Child

Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart are going to be parents again.

The “Grey’s Anatomy” star, 38, and his wife, 39, are expecting their second child, sources told People and Life & Style, the latter of which first reported the news.

The impending bundle of joy will join the couple’s 1-year-old daughter, Billie Beatrice, who was born in March 2010.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Eric, who plays Dr. Mark “McSteamy” Sloan on the ABC drama, has said he and his wife plan to have more than one child.

During a November 2010 taping of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Eric revealed he and Rebecca were ready to give Billie a sibling.

“You look at a baby like that and you say she smiles waking up. It makes you want to have more? Probably?” Ellen asked at the time.

“Well, we’re going to have another one hopefully. We’re working on it,” Eric said.

The actor also revealed that he and Rebecca, who married in 2004, would like an even number of family members.

“How many do you want?” Ellen asked, referring to children.

“Two,” Eric said.

“That’s it?” Ellen asked.

“Yeah, we’ll start with two,” he said.

A rep for Rebecca did not respond to a request for comment on the pregnancy news when contacted by Access Hollywood on Friday.
