RHONY’s LuAnn De Lesseps Continues To Deny Affair With Johnny Depp Look-A-Like

“Real Housewives of New York City” star LuAnn de Lesseps (aka The Countess) continued to defend her reputation after Monday night’s episode left many wondering if she had dalliances with a Johnny Depp look-a-like.

“What may have looked like infidelity on last night’s episode was in reality, a ride home with a friend and a tour of the house after an evening of fun on vacation eight months ago,” the Countess, who has a boyfriend – Jacques — blogged on Bravo.com.

For those who missed the episode, the “RHONY” ladies visited St. Barths, and during a night out on the town, they partied it up at a club where LuAnn met and developed a fondness for Tomas, a man who was dressed up like Johnny’s “Pirates of the Caribbean” character, Captain Jack.

The next day, gossip ensued, and the ladies suspected LuAnn had brought Tomas home for a night of passion. She played it off on the show saying it was actually old friends she brought back, but admitted to another pal over the phone (captured on camera, while speaking in French) that she had brought Tomas back – but not for a romp.

“Do you think I would bring a man back to a houseful of housewives (and cameras) if I were planning on having an affair?” LuAnn continued in her blog (she also denied the rumors via Twitter the night the show aired).

“My big mistake was trying to avoid the speculation and assumptions by telling a white lie,” she continued of the famed phone call to a pal where she admitted to bringing Tomas back, and asked her friend, who was coming over to the house, to cover for her. “The problem with telling a white lie is that once you say it, you have to stick to your story, that’s why I made the call when I heard that Tomas was coming for dinner that night. Never tell a fib because it can snowball out of control. LESSON LEARNED.”

The Countess assured fans she is still with her longtime French boyfriend and things are good.

“As I write this, Jacques and I are on vacation and we couldn’t be more united and happy,” she noted.
