Ricky Martin Engaged! Singer Shares Story Of Proposing To Jwan Yosef

Ricky Martin is engaged to artist Jwan Yosef.

The singer revealed the news on Wednesday’s “The Ellen
DeGeneres Show.”

“We just got engaged,” Ricky revealed.

The singer, who is about to begin a Las Vegas residency at the Park Theater at the Monte Carlo, has known Jwan for more than a year. The two met after Ricky was looking for art, and became an admirer of Jwan’s work. Ricky told Ellen that the two have been together since January.

He also told Ellen how he popped the question.

“I proposed. I was really nervous, but I got on my knees and I took out the little metal box. I just had them in a little velvet pouch and instead of saying, ‘Would you marry me?’ I said, ‘I got you something,'” Ricky told Ellen.

“I said, ‘I want to spend my life with you.’ And he was like, ‘What is the question?’ ‘Would you marry me?'” Ricky added.

The moment was “very beautiful,” Ricky said.

“I’m so happy for you. You deserve that,” Ellen responded.
