Rihanna Cancels Second Concert

Rihanna has canceled another concert in the wake of an allegedly violent incident with boyfriend Chris Brown on Saturday night.

According to People, the “Disturbia” singer was set to perform in Jakarta on Thursday, but nixed the show because of what show organizers told the mag was “an assault involving Rihanna’s boyfriend.”

The injured singer also canceled a concert in Malaysia on Tuesday. On Saturday night, several hours after attending a pre-Grammy party honoring Clive Davis, the two allegedly quarreled before Brown allegedly bit and hit her. He turned himself into the LAPD on Sunday after both singers pulled out of the Grammys. Brown was charged with felony criminal threats and was later released on a $50,000 bail.

The missed Jakarta show is Rihanna’s second cancellation for the Indonesian capital, which she was supposed to play in November 2008 before a travel warning issued by the Australian government interfered.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Brown has stepped out of the spotlight as well, backing out of his involvement with this weekend’s NBA All-Star Weekend. The singer’s advertising campaign for Wrigley’s Doublemint Gum has been suspended as well.
