Rihanna ‘In Shock’ Over Time 100 Honor: ‘I’ll Always Remember For The Rest Of My Life’

Rihanna recently added yet another honor to her impressive list of achievements – landing on Time’s 100 Most Influential People list — and the pop superstar says she was absolutely stunned when she learned she’d made the list.

“I was in shock, really, because it’s a very prestigious list and to be recognized by Time, that’s something that I’ll always remember for the rest of my life,” Rihanna told Access Hollywood correspondent Jill Martin at the Time 100 event in New York City on Wednesday evening. “That’s something that you work toward, you know, you don’t even think about it ‘cause you don’t think it can ever happen.

“You read the Time 100 List every year and to be a part of that list it, it’s such an incredible feeling,” she added.

The 24-year-old beauty also dished on her decision to dye her locks jet black.

“You’re back to your favorite hair color,” Jill said. “You were blond last time [we spoke] and you told me that [black] is your favorite hair color.”

“Yes, I missed it… and I am finally black again,” Rihanna explained. “I wanted to do it for a long time and I knew it would be pretty permanent or a little more difficult to change from, so I took a long time.”
