Rob Thomas & Kristen Bell Plotting Possible ‘Veronica Mars’ Movie

Could “Veronica Mars” becoming to the big screen?

According to Entertainment Weekly, series star Kristen Bell took an impromptu meeting with show creator Rob Thomas last week to discuss the possibility of reviving the cancelled CW drama for a feature film.

“Kristen and I ran into each other, and we did discuss a ‘Veronica’ movie,” Thomas told the mag, noting that he’s had “a few conversations” with “Veronica Mars” executive producer Joel Silver.

Bell is coincidentally shooting the third season of “Heroes” on the same lot as the offices of Thomas’ production, leading to the surprise encounter.

Thomas has his hands full with a pair of ABC projects, “Cupid” and “Outrageous Fortune,” but he said a “Mars” movie will be his “top priority” as soon as he has free time.

“It’s very tough to focus on it right now with two pilots on my plate,” he said.

Bell, who played a starring role in spring comedy “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” says she’s trying not to get her hopes up.

”[Fans] still ask me all the time if the show’s coming back. Emotionally, I don’t want to think about ‘Veronica Mars’ every day because it really does make me sad,” she said.

But a film picking up where the third and final season left off could be in the cards nevertheless.

“We’ll see,” she said.
