Robert Pattinson Debuts Short New ‘Do On ‘Ellen’

“Twilight Saga” star Robert Pattinson loves to make people squirm – and itch!

The 24-year-old star explained the reason behind his new short haircut during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” airing on Wednesday.

“It’s three days old,” he told Ellen. “I got a terrible infestation of nits and I had to shave it all off.”

“No you did not. Don’t start that rumor,” Ellen said.

The actor explained the new ‘do is actually for his new movie, “Water for Elephants,” with Reese Witherspoon, which starts filming in LA this week.

The sometimes press-shy actor explained to Ellen why he likes to think before he speaks.

“I just like doing things where you have a little time to think about what you’re saying. I’ve always had a problem actually thinking before I open my mouth,” Robert said. “Yeah, being spontaneous or just thinking. I have a problem with thinking.”
