Robert Pattinson To Attend Cosmopolis Premiere

Robert Pattinson is getting back in the saddle.

After reportedly pulling out of an upcoming Los Angeles press day for his latest film, “Cosmopolis,” following girlfriend Kristen Stewart’s cheating scandal, the 26-year-old actor will attend promotional appearances for the film in New York City, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

”‘Cosmopolis’ is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting,” his rep said in a statement released to People on Wednesday. “No confirmed engagements have been canceled. Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate.”

The NYC press day and premiere (scheduled for August 13 and 14, respectively), will mark the Robert’s first public appearances since Kristen released a statement apologizing for a fling with “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, according to multiple reports, Robert has moved out of the home he once shared with Kristen and has been hiding out at Reese Witherspoon’s ranch home in Ojai, Calif.

“Cosmopolis” – written and directed by David Cronenberg (“A History of Violence,” “Eastern Promises,” “The Fly”) — hits theaters on August 17.
