Robin Thicke is burning up the charts with his summer jam, “Blurred Lines,” and he’s heating things up with two video versions for the song, one which caused quite a buzz thanks to no shortage of nudity.
Access Hollywood caught up with the singer on Thursday night at the live streaming Interscope Introducing concert at the YouTube Space in Los Angeles, where he talked about the success of his chart-topping hit and his family’s reaction.
“You dream of just hoping people like it and we had no idea it would be this successful,” he told Access of the song, which has over 70 million hits on YouTube and tops the Billboard charts.

But was does actor dad Alan Thicke and mom Gloria Loring think of the racy version of the video?
”[My dad] was a big fan. My mom went ‘That’s very nice,’” Robin laughed.

Robin said that his 3-year-old son Julian, who he has with wife Paula Patton, has already watched the racy spot.
“He’s already seen it,” Robin said. “To him he just goes, ‘Daddy, that’s daddy.’ He doesn’t notice the boobs.”
His wife Paula is also a big fan.
“After she saw the video she wanted to watch it like 10 times in a row,” he added. “She really liked it.”
