ROLL CALL: Aretha Franklin’s Dress Double Dip

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

Aretha’s Double Dip!: Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin loves her bronze dress so much that she wore it for two consecutive nights! She was spotted sporting it on Sunday at the 2010 Tony Awards and then again on Monday night at the 2010 Apollo Theater Spring Benefit Concert & Awards Ceremony at The Apollo Theater in New York, as Dlisted.com first reported. The diva did managed to switch up her wig though, sporting light brown layered locks on Sunday and then a curly dark ‘do on Monday. We know the economy is rough, but the Queen of Soul needs to send one of her subjects shopping!

Betty Is Ready For Ryan!: When will the humorous Hollywood smooching end? After Sandra Bullock kissed Scarlett Johansson at the MTV Movie Awards the weekend before last, People asked Betty White – who was also on hand to honor Sandra – if she would enjoy a kiss from Sandra. “No, no … but if Ryan Reynolds had kissed me, I’d have been very ready,” Betty told the mag – ‘cuz who doesn’t want to see an 88-year-old lock lips with the Green Lantern!

New “NYC Housewives” Cast?: “The Real Housewives of New York City” is reportedly going to experience a cast shakeup next season. According to The New York Post’s Page Six, Bravo is looking for “a couple of new ladies.” So, who is leaving? Bethenny Frankel, who landed her own series, has said her future on the show is uncertain and Page Six questions if Alex McCord and newbie Jennifer Gilbert – who barley had any airtime last season and was left out of the reunion show – will be the next to leave. As The Countess LuAnn de Lesseps says money can’t buy you class, but it can apparently buy you a new cast!

The Situation Raps!: In further signs of the apocalypse in the music industry, “Jersey Shore’s” Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is about to drop a rap single. According to E! Online, the song is (oh-so creatively) titled, “The Situation.” The reality star reportedly created the fist-pumping jam with Grammy-winning Fatman Scoop, DJ Class and the Disco Fries. Listen to a preview of The Situation’s song, HERE!
