“Big Brother” Houseguest Slammed By Host: First CBS, now “Big Brother” host Julie Chen is taking on Aaryn Gries, the 22-year-old houseguest who has been hurling a slew of racist and anti-gay comments on the reality show. Aaryn has made derogatory comments about Asians, African-Americans and LGBT individuals – remarks that cost the Texas native her modeling contract back home. “Personally, I was offended,” Juile told TMZ. “I was offended by all the comments – the anti-gay, the anti-black, but especially the anti-Asian ones … for obvious reasons.” Julie hopes that Aaryn, who is cut off from the outside world (and its backlash following her comments), will evolve when she gets out of the “Big Brother” house. “I’m hopeful that when she gets out, she’ll read the headlines and that will force her to change the way she thinks. I’m hopeful,” she added.
