Miley The Puppy Savior: Whoever said Young Hollywood is headed in a downward spiral has not met Miley Cyrus. The “Hannah Montana” mega tween mogul and her dad found a lost puppy Wednesday and stayed with the pooch until they found the owner, E! Online reports. Miley and a puppy– could it get any cuter!

Simon Thinks Ryan Is A Yappy Dog: In more pooch news, Simon Cowell appears to have a bone to pick with “Idol” host Ryan Seacrest. While on Wednesday’s “Live With Regis & Kelly,” Simon said of Ryan, “You know when you go to your auntie’s and the little Chihuahua gets on your leg because it thinks it’s something else. That’s my relationship with Ryan.” Puppy love indeed!

Ashlee Engagement Around The Corner?: And in yet more puppy news– puppy love that is — Ashlee Simpson finally came clean about the bling she’s been sporting on her finger Wednesday on Fuse TV, saying her diamond band is a promise ring from boyfriend Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, People reports. “It just means that he hasn’t asked my dad yet,” Ashlee told Fuse.

Barack Backs Jonas Brothers: While on the “Kidd Kraddick in the Morning” show, presidential candidate Barack Obama talked about the day he discovered his 10-year-old daughter was a fan of the Jonas Brothers, Page Six reports. “I didn’t know who these guys were, and I come home one day and Malia has all these prepubescent boys on her wall. I said, ‘Who are these guys, and how many pictures of them do you need on your wall?'” the White House hopeful said. But luckily for his daughter, Barack approves of the young heartthrobs saying, “They actually seem like good young men.” If only tweens could vote!
