ROLL CALL: Chris Brown Confirms Split From Rihanna: Not Into ‘Wife-ing Somebody That Young’

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

And Yet Another Split: We’ve lost track of how many times it is at this point, but it appears Chris Brown and Rihanna have split yet again. After rumors that the on-again, off-again pair went their separate ways, Chris opened up about the split during an interview with Australia’s 2Day radio show “The Kyle and Jackie Show.” “I mean, at the end of the day, shawty doing her thang, she on the road … It’s always gonna be love. I’m just gonna do me. I’m a grown man. Just gotta fast forward,” he said. “I am always going to love that person… But people have differences and people have different wants and needs. And at the end of the day, she’s a young girl. I can’t really be focused on wife-ing somebody that young… And I’m young too. So I can’t focus on that right now. I just need to fast forward and be a man and be the best Chris Brown I can be, instead of worrying about whoever else is going to be in my side pocket.” We’re glad RiRi is no longer in anybody’s “side pocket”!

More Nerd News: And on the other side of the Marvel Universe, director Bryan Singer has given his fans a glimpse of Ellen Page reprising her Kitty Pryde role in the upcoming “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” Check out Ellen in her Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters-appropriate gear!

Worst Song Ever From A “Why Are You Famous?” Personality: We’ve endured songs from Paris Hilton, a slew of “Real Housewives,” Courtney Stodden, Heidi Montag – even Octomom – but “Tanning Mom” Patricia Krentcil’s new song, “It’s Tan Mom,” might be the worst recorded piece of “music” ever. If that continuous loop of nails on a chalkboard on your iPod is getting dull, take a listen to “Tanning Mom” Patricia Krentcil’s first single. (P.S., we apologize in advance.)
