ROLL CALL: Eva Mendes On Looking Sexy & Censored

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

Eva Will Show It Off: There’s nothing like a banned perfume commercial to get people talking, especially if it’s Eva Mendes who has been censored. “I love my country, but I believe that we are too quick to censor nudity,” the actress told the Spanish edition of Vogue in its November issue about her banned commercial for Calvin Klein’s Secret Obsession. “We seem okay with violence, but nudity we race to criticize and censor. I’m not at all ashamed or frightened about showing my body.” In fact she doesn’t even mind being considered a sex object. “I love it, but it’s not important to me to always be thought of as sexy. I like it when it doesn’t limit my career. It’s a part of my life, but on a secondary plane.” Silly us, and we thought it helped actor’s careers!

Brit’s NYC Dinner On Camera: After Britney surprised students in the Bronx with a $10,000 check, the pop star and her 10-person entourage hit up at New York’s Coppola’s in Murray Hill, People reports. During their meal, Brit used a handheld camera to film the night and reportedly asked her guests to say funny things on camera. Brit’s gang enjoyed dinner and chocolate soufflé for dessert before hitting up Soho House — just another night with Brit y’all.

Lil Jon On Brit’s “Circus”: He might not have been enjoying chocolate soufflé with the pop star, but music producer and rapper Lil Jon says Brit will deliver something sweet and tasty with her upcoming album, “Circus.” “It’s going to be a big album,” he told People at the VH1 Save the Music Hip Hop Honors after party in New York Thursday night. “Britney is very intelligent and she’s really set up [for success]. She is focused and she wants it again, so it’s definitely going to happen for her.” And most importantly, Brit is going to have people moving in the clubs. “Her stuff is all about making people party!”

Tracy On Fey & Palin: Speaking of parties; well, political parties — the country may be split about Obama/Biden and McCain/Palin, but “30 Rock” star Tracy Morgan thinks his co-star, Tina Fey’s, Palin impression is spot on. “Tina Fey’s Sarah Palin was on the money,” he told Us Weekly at Thursday’s 2008 VH1 Hip Hop Honors in NYC. “I think her impersonation of Sarah might decide who’s gonna be President of the United States.” And are Tracy and Tina chummy outside the “30 Rock” office? “I don’t hang out with her! She’s a married mother. She don’t hang out with Tracy Morgan.”
