The pair stepped out last night at the “The Ides of March” Paris premiere and they appeared to have been swept away by the city’s infamous romance vibes! George couldn’t take his eyes off the former WWE star while they posed for photographs on the red carpet. (Almost) Going Bond: An Australian James Bond? Before Daniel Craig stepped into the role of James Bond, 007 almost went Down Under. Hugh Jackman told the Press Association, via The Huffington Post, that producers were interested in him for the coveted role, but he went the mutant route instead. “I got a call from my agent saying, ‘There is some possible interest in you for Bond, are you interested?’” Hugh Jackman told the Press Association. “At the time I wasn’t. I was about to shoot ‘X-Men 2’ and Wolverine had become this thing in my life and I didn’t want to be doing two such iconic characters at once.” Roll Call loves Daniel Craig as Bond, but we wouldn’t have minded Hugh either… can he be 008?
