A spin-off is in the works at the CW, the entertainment trade mag reported. Sources said the new Upper East Side teen backstabbing sex fest will not focus on the young aspiring fashion maven, Jenny Humphrey, played by Taylor Momsen, but will focus one of the nine regular characters. And More Georgina On “Gossip”: In another early “Gossip Girl” Christmas present, everybody’s favorite diabolical socio-socialite, Georgina Sparks, is returning from boarding school to reek more havoc on unsuspecting plaid-skirted girls. Michelle Trachtenberg, who so skillfully plays Georgina, will be back on the CW show, according to series creator Josh Schwartz. “It’s safe to say you haven’t seen the last of her,” he told a crowd of fans Wednesday during a panel discussion at the Apple Store in SoHo, Nylon magazine reported. Serena better watch her pristinely dyed blonde locks, she might be missing a handful or two with Georgina back in town.

The actress is slamming rumors that she is dating Jon Sadoff from the band thenewno2. “I would just like to set the record straight and say that I am not, nor have I ever been, dating Jon!” Mischa wrote on her Web site. “Jon and I met a few months ago through mutual friends at a concert in LA and we have been good friends since. We have a similar taste in music and we always have a great time together, but it is completely platonic!” If Mischa had her own Dorota at her side, maybe these rumors might not be spreading!
