Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” With Target: Are millions of Little Monsters about to stop shopping at Target? The Advocate reported that Lady Gaga and the retailer have gone their separate ways. “Lady Gaga and Target came to a mutual decision to end their overall exclusive partnership a few weeks ago,” a rep for the singer told the mag. According to an Advocate source, the singer stopped working with Target over its contributions to antigay political candidates and causes. Last month, the singer opened up about her concerns with the company to Billboard, telling the mag, “Part of my deal with Target is that they have to start affiliating themselves with LGBT charity groups and begin to reform and make amends for the mistakes they’ve made in the past … our relationship is hinged upon their reform in the company to support the gay community and to redeem the mistakes they’ve made supporting those [antigay] groups.”
