‘Dancing’ Maksim Dances Another Dance: Maksim Chmerkovskiy, of “DWTS”
fame, has announced he’s not leaving the hit reality show, according to a report
in People. “I am not quitting the show,” he
declared. Known for his bravado as much as his fancy foot work, the dancing
partner wants to reassure any doubters. “I want people—especially my fans—to
know that I appreciate their support. I am not turning my back on the show. I
don’t want people to feel betrayed. I love this show.”
Shar Jackson’s New Job: Brit’s Life Coach?: From the lips of one K-Fed
girl to another, Shar Jackson, the mother of K-Fed’s first two kids, is offering
some pearls of wisdom to Britney. Shar is telling Britney to “Take it easy.
Enjoy the holidays. Lay low a little bit,” according to a report in OK!
Magazine. No word on whether Britney asked Shar for her
opinion.
‘High School Musical’ Non-Mock Trial: Vanessa Hudgens should see if
Shar has any words of wisdom in the legal area. A judge has ordered a lawsuit
can move forward where a lawyer claims the “High School Musical” star owes him
$150,000 in legal fees, according to a report by the Associated
Press. Her current lawyer says, “She was too young and innocent to be
bound by a legal contract … and was preyed upon by the very lawyer who helped
her make enough money to pay her current lawyers.” Vanessa’s next hearing is
scheduled for January 15.
Hey Baby Spice Don’t Forget The Lyrics!: Someone you shouldn’t invite
to your next “HSM” sing-along party is Baby Spice, if the reports of her
forgetting the lyrics to her own songs are true. Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spic,e
wrote in her Spice Blog, “during ‘Mama’ I got so carried away looking at the
video playing behind us of all the mothers and babies that I forgot some of the
lyrics!” according to a report in People. Luckily, Mel B, aka Scary Spice, is on
the scene to keep the Spice Girls in line. Baby says she “has a thing for
pinching our bottoms … which makes us all giggle!” Spice up your life
indeed!
Katie Cards: Katie Holmes might be craftier than you thought. The
actress and mother has designed The Cruise family holiday card, and it’s
something Martha Stewart could be proud of. The burgundy, cream and brown
holiday can be seen in latest issue of US Weekly. Katie signed the card, “Kate,” which
is often how Tom refers to her. “Katie has kept her staff busy doing the
shopping, and even had a different gift-wrap design for different categories:
family, friends, business associates,” a source tells US. The Cruise family will
reportedly spend their holiday in Telluride, Colorado.
