ROLL CALL: Mariah Carey Pulls Out Of Movie; While John Mayer Replaces Kevin Bacon!

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

Lil Mimi Coming Soon?: Mariah Carey has reportedly pulled out of Tyler Perry’s film adaptation of Ntozake Shange’s 1975 stage play “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf,” and now pregnancy rumors are running amuck! “I’m not at liberty to discuss her personal life at this time,” a rep for the singer first told People (later giving the same statement to Access Hollywood) when asked why Mimi suddenly dropped out of the movie. Her rep told Us Weekly, “She is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to… more than that I cannot comment further.” Lionsgate, the studio behind the film told Access, they had “no comment.” No word if Mariah and husband Nick Cannon are actually trying to have a baby or if Nick is ready to live with two screaming divas.

Mayer’s Manhood Put On Display: GQ put its graphics team to work in order to chart John Mayer’s alleged conquests in the very extensive and comprehensive “Six Degrees of John Mayer’s Manhood” feature for their June issue. Who knew that John and Sandra Bullock were only separated by two fellow celebrities? Guess how many an alleged degree of separation the rocker is away from Heidi Klum and Kristen Stewart? Find out, HERE! And Kevin Bacon – you’ve officially been replaced.

An “Idol” Fix?!: Speaking of “been there, done that,” now that “American Idol” has crowned a new champ, Lee DeWyze, and Simon Cowell is exiting to bring “X Factor” stateside – is “Idol” dead? E! Online has five ideas about how to resuscitate the FOX reality series that – in Roll Call’s humble opinion – was a total snooze fest this season (AccessHollywood.com’s own Dish of Salt also lists her five reasons for the show’s decline). We’re partial to the ideas of limiting Kara DioGuardi’s awkward cougar crushes on contestants and the very good of idea of doing an “Idol All-Stars.” Or, there’s always that Brian Dunkleman card left to play!

“Shore” Cast Hanging With Enrique: The “Jersey Shore” gang is reportedly making their music video debut in Enrique Iglesias’ video for “I Like It,” featuring Pitbull. According to TMZ, the GTL guys and girls are filming the video today in Miami. We can only hope that Snooki and Enrique bump & grind at some point during the shoot.
