Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

Best Of The Brits?: The 2012 Summer Olympic Games are just weeks away from kicking off in London, and according to one report out of Britain, two of the country’s biggest acts are scheduled to play the closing ceremonies. Boy band du jour One Direction (Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson) will reportedly open the ceremony, where thousands of flash mob dancers would put on a show with the boys, according to the Daily Star. Another British singer is reportedly also set to vocally shine at the closing ceremony. “[One Direction is] the UK’s biggest music ¬export at the moment behind Adele, who is also ¬rumored to be involved in some way,” a source claimed. The closing ceremony will also reportedly include Robbie Williams, Take That, The Who, George Michael, and Emeli Sande during the August 12 ceremony.

Batman Is Pissed!: Yet another trailer for “The Dark Knight Rises” has come out – and this time Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) is pissed! “I’m not afraid, I’m angry,” the actor is heard saying in the new trailer which features plenty of Batman’s villainous Bane and some choice Catwoman moments. Enjoy the trailer, HERE! “The Dark Knight Rises” hits theaters on July 20.

So Ryan Thinks He Can Sing & Dance: Let’s take a trip back to a simpler time filled with parachute pants and a young Ryan Gosling singing “When a Man Loves a Woman” and showing off impressive dance moves to C&C Music Factory’s “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now).” Check out this clip from 1991, HERE, featuring the actor in a talent show with his sister. Ryan, we were beyond impressed with your mastering of the trademark New Kids on the Block leg swing move.

Ab-Off! Norse God Vs. Werewolf!: We love a good battle of the abs, and thanks to Chris Hemsworth and Joe Manganiello’s recent trips to beach, the six-pack battle can now commence! Who should win the award for Most Ripped – “The Avengers” or the “True Blood”/“Magic Mike” star? Check out the flesh fest, HERE!
