Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenaningans

Whatever Britney Does, Paris Does: Hold on to your remote controls, another unexpected sitcom appearance by a paparazzi darling is happening tonight. Not to be outdone by Britney showing up on “How I Met Your Mother,” Paris Hilton will be popping up tonight on NBC’s “My Name Is Earl,” as a 1950’s housewife, OK! Magazine reports. Tune in to see if Paris’ acting skills have improved since her last stellar performance, in this year’s “The Hottie and the Nottie.”

Chace Won’t Let Breakup Get Him Down: After his break up with Carrie Underwood and speculated ‘bro-mance’ with JC Chasez, Chace Crawford still holding it together according to his sister, Candice. She tells People, “He’s doing okay through this whole ordeal. He was upset about the breakup. It’s always hard when you lose a relationship. Chace will get through it.” She means the break up with Carrie, in case there was any further speculation about whom he broke up with.

Jen’s Damages: Though she just started her own production company, Jennifer Aniston is being courted back to television. Former “Friends” costar Tate Donovan is telling OK! Magazine, he would love to work with her again on his FX show, “Damages,” saying, “Jen would be fantastic! I’ll have her people contact the show’s people. It will happen! It’d be great.” After Jen’s stint last year on FX’s “Dirt,” in which she had a quick lip-lock with Courteney Cox, we can’t think of any reason for her not to show up on “Damages.”

‘Hills’ Bro Spin-off?: “The Hills” heartbreaker, Brody Jenner, could be getting his own reality show, People reports. “Brody is in talks with MTV but the details of the project have not been confirmed,” his rep told People. Attention women of Hollywood, you have been warned. Brody will be prowling for drama at the usual Hollywood haunts (Les Deux, Hyde, Villa) and there will be cameras involved!

Desperately Seeking A Singer: Teri Hatcher is set to sing at the “Idol Gives Back” charity benefit next week, Rush & Molloy of the New York Daily News report. The Desperate Housewife will back up The Band From TV, which features James Denton, Hugh Laurie, Greg Grunberg, and Bonnie Somerville.
