ROLL CALL: Spidey Senses Say ‘Spider-Man’ Musical In Danger

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

‘Spider-Man’ Not Hitting The High Notes?: Julie Taymor, Bono & The Edge and a Spandex clad super hero – could the “Spider-Man” musical possibly be in trouble? According to the New York Post’s Broadway columnist Michael Riedel, production on the musical has been put on “hiatus,” because of a lack of funding. According to paper sources, producer David Garfinkle is about to be ousted and director Julie Taymor is blowing through the budget in order to make the magic happen on the stage. The musical has a reported budget of $45 million, but sources say it’s going to take a lot more to pull it off. Hello – Julie made us care about “The Lion King” again and brought home seven Tony Awards, we say, ‘Give the lady whatever she wants!’

Jon & Hailey – Defying The Odds: Octo-dad and major Ed Hardy fan, Jon Gosselin was spotted with Hailey Glassman leaving Starbucks in upstate New York Thursday. The 23-year-old told Radar Online, “We’ve always been together.” We had to re-watch the video multiple times because we first thought she said, “We’ll always be together,” which made us burst into hysterical laughter.

‘Housewife’ Bethenny Checks For A Baby On Board: “Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel was spotted with a pregnancy test by Page Six recently in the bathroom of Cyril’s Fish House in Amagansett, New York. “Bethenny opened her blue Birkin bag, and inside was a pregnancy test,” a Page Six snoop said. Bethenny confirmed the report, telling the paper, “Who has never bought a pregnancy test? Better to be sure before throwing back Skinnygirl Margaritas all weekend.” We’re not sure what’s more disturbing – Page Six sending spies into bathrooms and peeping into people’s purses, or Bethenny product name-dropping while talking about her possible baby. But, don’t worry Bethenny, we’ll still watch you religiously every week on Bravo!

Jen & Gerard – Dynamic Duo: Hey Gerard, we’re guessing the Aniston honeymoon is officially over. Can someone get this guy a latte and a better script, stat?! XOXO – Roll Call!
