ROLL CALL: Teen Wolf’s Tyler Hoechlin To Play Batman In Man Of Steel Sequel?

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Casting Shenanigans

Let The Caped Crusader Casting Rumors Begin!: Just days after it was announced the sequel to “Man of Steel” would feature Batman (will it be called “Superman vs. Batman” or “Batman vs. Superman”?) reports are surfacing about who might play Bruce Wayne, as Christian Bale has said he’s done donning the rubber caped suit. According to fanboy site Cosmic Book News, “Teen Wolf” star Tyler Hoechlin is in the running and will reportedly screen test alongside Henry Cavill. The site also reported that other “better known” actors are in the mix for the coveted role. According to CBN (Warner Bros. has not confirmed any plot details!), the movie will start a year after the events of “Man of Steel” with both heroes not trusting one another, but eventually teaming up to fight villains – two of whom could reportedly be The Joker and Lex Luthor. The site also reported that a few superhero Easter eggs could be worked into the movie, with possible mentions of Wonder Woman, The Flash and Green Lantern in the movie.

“Gone With The Wind Fabulous” Money!: In other big money news, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore – who twirled her way into reality TV infamy – will reportedly return for Season 6 of the Bravo series for a whopping $600,000, according to Us Weekly. The mag also reported that fellow stars NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss reportedly make $800,000 per season. If the former Miss USA keeps twirling and coming up with catchphrases like “‘Gone with the Wind’ fabulous,” we expect she’ll be making NeNe coin very soon.

Kris Humphries Gets A New Small Screen Gig: Following his divorce from Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries hasn’t had much work on a scripted TV show (see what were did there!?), but that’s about to change! According to TV Guide, the NBA player has landed a gig on Fox’s “The Mindy Project” playing himself. No word (but we’re hoping) they will make some Kim jokes!

He Won’t Rock You: After years in development, Sacha Baron Cohen has reportedly dropped out of the Freddie Mercury biopic. According to Deadline, the actor and the remaining members of Queen disagreed over the content and tone of the project, with Sacha reportedly wanting to make an R-rated tell-all about the gay rock singer. The band, however, reportedly wanted a more PG-esque take on the late singer’s life. Roll Call is going to have to side with Sacha on this one!
