‘The Hills’ Are Alive With The Sound of French Music: MTV’s mega-popular (somewhat) reality series, “The Hills,” wrapped its latest season last night. In case you missed any of the gripping cliffhangers, Lauren Conrad finally gets her chance to go to Paris. As for Spencer and Heidi, they’re taking a break to try and figure out if they should get married or not. And fear not “Hills” fans; the series will be back in the spring with 8 new episodes, according to a report in US Magazine. Will Lauren learn any French beyond “bonjour“? Will Spencer and Heidi take the matrimony plunge? And how could we forget ladies man Brody! “The Hills” returns in 2008.

The Lutfi Vanishing Act: Someone else who seems to have headed for the hills, is Britney’s right hand man, Sam Lutfi. After reports surfaced of Lutfi’s checkered past, the Brit-confidant has been MIA. US Magazine is wondering why the man who had become Brit’s shadow has not been seen since Dec. 3. Did Britney give him the boot? Or maybe he’s just busy getting the Spears manor ready for the holidays?

Paris Hilton: Oompa-Loompa Savior?: Another famous resident of the Hollywood Hills, Paris, or should I say Ms. “Protector Of The Oompa-Loompa,” was clubbing at Cameo in Miami last weekend when one of the little performers was injured. In her new role of humanitarian, she tended to the injured guy until help arrived, according to a report in People. A source on the scene told the mag, “Paris was great, she was there until he was turned over to the medical technicians.” I guess orange skin and green hair are, in fact, hot!

Tim Gunn: ‘Meryl Streep Style Savior!’: Someone who might be in need of a little added “hot” in the wardrobe department, is living acting legend Meryl Streep, at least according to “Project Runway’s” Tim Gunn. The style guru is apparently dying to work his fashion magic on the actress, according to a report in People.” I don’t know why she doesn’t want to get it, but she doesn’t! I really think that her disposition on it is ‘I’m too smart for it,’ but I want to say, ‘It’s not ephemeral. It’s not trivial. It is the semiology of clothing!’ She should get that,” Gunn told the mag. With awards season right around the corner, don’t be shocked if you see the actress and the style guy on Robertson Blvd.

David Beckham New Face & Body Of Armani: And someone who doesn’t need any help from Tim Gunn, is soccer superstar David Beckham. The ever-posh Becks will be splashed around the pages of magazines and across billboards wearing Armani, according to a report in People. The fashion designer said of Becks, “David is truly a modern day icon in that his fame extends well beyond the realm of soccer. He represents a notion of modern masculinity: as a sports hero, husband and father. He is also a man with a great sense of style.” Enjoy the sneak peek at Becks in his best Armani undies.
