ROLL CALL: Uma Thurman Eats Her Words On Marriage

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

New Britney & Madonna Video: Despite rumors of Britney Spears joining Madonna onstage for her upcoming “Sticky & Sweet” tour, it appears the duo will only appear together on video. “Britney’s doing a video piece this week for Madonna’s new tour,” Brit’s manager, Larry Rudolph, told Access Hollywood. The video will reportedly be shown on giant video screens during Madge’s world tour. No word if the duo will recreate their VMA smooch in the video, but fans sure can hope!

Jessica — The Chill Mom: She’s only been a mom for a month, and Jessica Alba is deciding to be a stress-free mom. “If you’re very paranoid and uptight and won’t let your child cross the street, they are going to take on that anxiety,” the actress told Britain’s Sunday Express in their S Magazine. “If you’re a little more laid back and make your kids responsible for their actions, you’ll probably have an easier time with them. I guess I’ll find out.”

Third’s Times A Charm For Uma: Uma Thurman is eating her words. The actress swore off future nuptials following divorces from Gary Oldman and Ethan Hawke, but her recent engagement to Swiss multimillionaire Arpad “Arki” Busson has Uma backtracking. “I’m going to have to retract my statement of never. I’ll have to eat my words – what a surprise,” she told the U.K.‘s Sunday Times Style magazine. Celeb martial bliss — it seems almost unnatural.

The Cruises & The Becks Celebrate Independence: The Cruise family and the Beckham family celebrated Independence weekend together in Telluride, Colorado, E! Online reports. The Becks clan reportedly took their black Rolls Royce convertible straight to a Burbank airport hangar where the Cruise private jet was waiting to take them to the scenic mountain city. Sure beats hotdogs and lawn chairs with the neighbors.
