More Iron Man for RDJ?: Robert Downey Jr.’s future as Iron Man is not crystal clear… in fact, he’s very vague about possibly playing one of Marvel’s favorite characters in future “Iron Man” movies. “It’s down to Kevin [Feige, Marvel Studios president] and Ike [Perlmutter, CEO of Marvel Entertainment] and Disney to come to us with what the proposal is, and that’s on us to agree or disagree,” he told Entertainment Weekly about playing the character in a fourth movie. “When things are going great, there’s a lot of agreement.” Adding, “Right now, this has just been swell, hasn’t it? This has been a really good one and it feels good and we’re having a good time. It’s that thing of: Why give up the belt when it feels like you can barely get jabbed?” So that appears to be good news for Marvel fans, right? “Most people are saying that right when they get knocked out. The future is, as usual, uncertain.” the actor said, adding a possible downer caveat.

Girl Thor On The Big Screen?: Marvel made headlines announcing that there will be a female Thor in the comic books, but what about on the big screen? “I love when they change things up and move things along and do the unexpected,” Marvel’s head honcho Kevin Feige told HuffPo. “That’s why these characters have endured for 50-plus years, and it gives us material to keep the movies fresh down the line. I’m not going to say any of those changes are going to happen any time soon in the movies, but the fact that they have happened – and, by the way, that’s happened before; there have been female Thors and black Captain Americas in the past – keeps it current and in the public eye.” Adding, “Everything they do in publishing becomes possible material for us to turn into movies.”
