NEW YORK (January 10, 2007) — Rosie O?Donnell has responded on her Web site to hundreds of fans that emailed over her public spat with Donald Trump and her reported feud with Barbara Walters.Yesterday, the New York Post and the New York Daily News reported that Rosie verbally sparred with ?View? co-host Barbara in the makeup room of the ABC show. She was alleged to have called the veteran journalist a ?liar? for some of the comments Walters’ made regarding the Rosie v. Donald war of words, which continued over the holiday period while she was on vacation in Florida.?I did,? Rosie responds on Rosie.com, to a question as to whether the argument with Barbara took place. ?But I never cursed.?Rosie also corrected the story, writing, ?I never called her a liar. I asked how she could call him a friend.”Responding to a Web site reader who asked if ?Barbara was a phony? Rosie responded with: ?She is a legend. A feminist hero. She is to be respected. He [Trump] is a rich guy?s son with bad hair.?As for Rosie?s place on ?The View,? which Donald called into question allegedly re-quoting Barbara [Trump says Walters told him ?she (Rosie) won?t be here for long?] O?Donnell responded to that too.?Fear not,? she wrote. ?All is cool at ?The View.??Reports suggest that Rosie and Barbara will respond some more on today?s episode of ?The View.?
