It looks like Rosie O’Donnell is thoroughly enjoying being a five-time mommy.
The comedian took to Twitter over the weekend to gush over her and wife Michelle Rounds’ newborn daughter Dakota and share photos of the adorable baby with her fans.
“Baby love,” the doting mom wrote on Sunday, along with a photo of Dakota – who the couple has nicknamed Dax – sporting a lavender onesie while asleep on Rosie’s shoulder.
In another shot, captioned “Loving life,” Rosie’s wife is seen holding Dakota (who has fallen asleep with her tiny mouth agape).
The former talk show host (known for expressing herself through verse) also penned a poem titled “A Baby Born,” in which she praises Michelle’s skills as a new mom and — in true Rosie style — ends with a line devoted to her excitement over the recent return of Showtime’s “Shameless.”
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Rosie and Michelle – who secretly wed in a private ceremony in June 2012 – welcomed Dakota earlier this month via adoption.
Born on January 5, Dakota weighed in at five pounds, five ounces.
Rosie has also has four children from her previous relationship with Kelli Carpenter.
