Rupert Grint and Chloe Grace Moretz have signed on for the biopic about Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson.
According to Variety, the young actors have joined “The Drummer,” which also stars as Aaron Eckhart as Wilson and Vera Farmiga, who will portray Fleetwood Mac’s Christine McVie.
The “Harry Potter” series star will play Stan Shapiro, a talent agency mail room intern who befriends the musician in later part of his life.
Chloe has been cast as the drummer’s daughter Jennifer, who is also co-producing the biopic.
“The Drummer,” which will focus on the last six years of Wilson’s life before his death 1983, is slated to start filming in June.
